How does this product work?
Our cells make energy by metabolizing (burning) glucose within the cell to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP). A cell that efficiently produces ATP, will have the energy required to fight off disease and remain healthy. However, thanks to our refined and mostly processed food diet, most of the foods we consume makes us acidic, which causes the cells to become inflamed and consequently insulin resistant. It is impossible to fix the problem of diabetes without first addressing the fundamental issues of insulin resistance and chronic inflammation.
Perfect Glucose Control employs a three-pronged approach to addressing diabetes and pre- diabetes.
It works by:
1. First removing the prevailing concern of insulin resistance. Anyone can become insulin-resistant, and most people actually are, even children. Insulin resistance is a condition in which the cells of the body become insulin insensitive and blocks insulin receptors from allowing glucose to freely enter the cell. This forces high levels of glucose to remain in the blood, which over time damages many organs and tissues. You know you are insulin resistant if you fall asleep after a high carbohydrate meal. You fall asleep because the brain is now flooded with more glucose than it was designed to withstand, so it attempts a “shutdown” (induced sleep) to prevent damage. This is the first sign of insulin resistance which certainly will lead to diabetes in the not so far future.
2. Lowering inflammation. Inflammation, caused by prolonged acidosis is a primary risk factor for diabetes.
3. Empowering the mitochondria. As indicated on our home page, mitochondrial dysfunction is also a prominent contributor to all chronic conditions including diabetes.
